Human Resource Support: Maintain staff attendance, leave records, and personnel files. Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training coordination. Support performance appraisal and compliance with HR policies. 5. Academic & Student Support: Assist in organizing school events, examinations, and extracurricular activities. Support admission procedures and maintain student records. Handle parent queries and ensure effective communication. 6. Compliance & Liaison: Ensure compliance with education board/authority requirements (CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Board). Maintain statutory records (affiliations, licenses, fire safety, health & safety norms). Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and external agencies. Key Responsibilities: Fee Management Manage student fee collection, issue receipts, and maintain accurate fee records. Follow up on outstanding dues and generate periodic fee reports. Coordinate with parents for fee-related queries. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day financial transactions using Tally/ERP/School Management System. Record journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements. Payroll & Compliance Process staff salaries, deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS). Ensure statutory compliance with Income Tax, GST (if applicable), PF, ESI, and labour laws. File TDS returns and coordinate with auditors for compliance reports. Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist in preparing the school’s annual budget. Monitor expenses against budget and report variances. Support cost control and resource optimization initiatives. * Vendor & Purchase Management Handle vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliation. Maintain records of school purchases and ensure proper approvals. Audit & Reporting Coordinate with internal/external auditors. Prepare financial reports for management, trustees, and regulatory authorities. Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and audit documents.
