Sales and Target Achievement Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the full range of dairy products (liquid milk, curd, paneer, ghee, etc.). Implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and visibility in retail outlets, supermarkets, institutions, and other distribution channels. Generate new business opportunities by identifying and onboarding new distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts. 2. Distribution and Market Expansion Manage the distribution network within the assigned territory, ensuring efficient supply chain and timely delivery of perishable dairy goods. Conduct regular market visits to monitor product freshness, shelf placement, stock levels, and competitor activities. Identify new markets and channels (e.g., HoReCa - Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) to expand the company's footprint. 3. Customer and Distributor Management Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with existing customers, distributors, and retailers. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Negotiate sales terms, contracts, and promotional agreements with key stakeholders. 4. Merchandising and Promotion Ensure optimal product display and visibility (merchandising) at all points of sale, following company guidelines. Execute in-store promotions, sampling activities, and marketing campaigns to boost sales and brand recall. Provide distributors and retailers with product knowledge and training. 5. Reporting and Analysis Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily sales, stock movement, and customer interactions. Collect and report on market intelligence, including competitor pricing, schemes, new product launches, and consumer trends. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager. Monitor and ensure timely collection of payments from customers/distributors as per the company's credit policy. Qualifications and Skills Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Dairy industry. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
