Responsibilities and Duties To conduct QC tests of raw material, semi-finished & finished products. To improve existing products to reduce cost, improve performance, or simplify manufacturing and/or any research task being given. Making sure that data is accurately recorded in accordance with guidelines. Keeping up to date with production and technical developments. Assist Head Chemist in planning and executing laboratory tests. Conduct chemical experiments under the guidance of Head Chemist. Document test procedures and results and report the same to the Head Chemist. Maintain the laboratory clean, safe and organized. Coordinate, plan and perform daily laboratory functions. Analyze root causes for problems and suggest corrective actions. Develop or revise the test analytical methods to ensure quality, productivity, and consistency. Identify and report new equipment needs to Supervisor.
