Primary Skills (Must have expereince): 6+ years of experience in Veeva Vault platform, with at least 23 years in Veeva Vault RIMS support and configuration. 4+ years of experience in Veeva Vault RIMS modules including Registrations, Submissions, Correspondence, and Commitments. 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing L2/L3 support activities including ticket triaging, incident/problem/change management. 4+ years of experience in Vault configuration: document types, object configuration, workflows, lifecycles, security policies. 4+ years of experience in managing system performance, error handling, and integration troubleshooting. 3+ years of experience with Veeva Vault admin console, security roles, and permission sets. 3+ years of experience in Veeva support tools (MyVeeva, Vault Loader, VQL, Vault REST APIs). 3+ years of experience in leading a support team and working in a multi-vendor global delivery model. Role & responsibilities As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end application maintenance lifecycle for Veeva Vault RIMS, including incident management, problem resolution, change requests, enhancements, release management, system configuration, and user support. You will coordinate with client stakeholders, Veeva product teams, and cross-functional IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions that align with business objectives and compliance standards. You will lead a team of support engineers and administrators who handle daily operational activities such as resolving tickets, addressing integration issues, monitoring system health, managing access controls, and troubleshooting performance-related concerns. You are expected to define SLAs and ensure adherence, analyze recurring issues, recommend preventive actions, and continuously improve the support framework using ITIL best practices. Your leadership will be critical in planning and executing minor enhancements and releases, conducting impact assessments for upgrades, regression testing, and preparing business readiness documentation. You will serve as the escalation point for complex technical or functional issues, working in close collaboration with business analysts, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams. Additionally, you will assist in training and onboarding support team members, mentoring them on Veeva Vault RIMS functionality, configuration options, and standard operating procedures. You will also participate in governance meetings and provide regular reporting on performance metrics, open risks, resource utilization, and improvement opportunities. A deep understanding of regulatory submission management, registration tracking, health authority correspondence, and product lifecycle management processes is essential. Your technical expertise should span Veeva Vault RIMS modules, Vault configuration tools, document types, security policies, workflows, lifecycle states, and reporting tools. The role also demands excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. You should be proactive, solution-oriented, and have a track record of delivering results in a global delivery model with cross-functional teams.
