Position: Direct Consultant Database Testing (QA) Experience: 4 6 Years Location: Only local candidates i.e., Bangalore is preferrable for all the positions Notice Period : Immediate joiners Direct Contract / Database Testing Consultant for 6-months duration, based on performance and business needs it will be extended / converted. About the Role We are looking for a Database Testing QA Engineer to join our team as a Direct Consultant. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual and database testing with proficiency in SQL/MySQL and working knowledge of QA processes for web-based applications and APIs . This role requires a professional who can perform thorough testing of database systems, write and execute SQL queries for data validation, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality releases. Key Responsibilities Perform database testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy. Write and execute complex SQL/MySQL queries for data validation and backend testing. Conduct manual testing of web-based applications and APIs. Design and manage test cases, test scenarios, and test plans using tools like TestRail or Zephyr. Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or other bug-tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to resolve issues. Ensure compliance with QA best practices and maintain documentation of testing processes. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience in Database Testing and MySQL Testing . Proficiency in SQL queries for validation and backend testing. Experience in manual testing of web-based applications and APIs. Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. Proficiency in defect tracking using Jira . Solid understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC . Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4–6 years of experience in Database and QA testing . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
