Job Title: Accountant – Construction Phase manufacturing Unit Location: Gadhinglaj MIDC Reporting To: Project Manager Experience Required: 3–4 years (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup) Job Summary: We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to independently manage the accounts section of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, managing day-to-day accounting activities, and supporting the finance function in cost and inventory control. Key Responsibilities: Project Accounting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project-related expenses, advances, and payments. Classify expenses under appropriate capital work-in-progress (CWIP) heads (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.). Maintain vendor-wise and work-order-wise accounting for civil contractors, equipment suppliers, consultants, and other service providers. Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or other ERP systems. Record all transactions related to purchases, sales, expenses, payments, and receipts. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, customer accounts, and intercompany transactions. Taxation and Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns). Handle TDS payments, returns, and compliance. Assist in preparation of data for Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory filings. Inventory and Cost Accounting: Coordinate with the stores and production departments to monitor raw material and finished goods inventory. Assist in costing analysis for production and products. Maintain records of stock valuation, movement, and physical verification. MIS and Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and cash flow reports. Maintain records for audits and assist in statutory/internal audits. Support management in budgeting and financial planning. Vendor and Payroll Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable. Prepare vendor payments and maintain vendor reconciliations. Assist in salary processing and payroll-related accounting. Audit Support: Prepare schedules and supporting documents for auditors. Address auditor queries and ensure timely closure of audit points. Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent. Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally ERP , MS Excel, and GST compliance tools.
