What You'll Be Responsible For As a Business Development Executive, you'll be the driving force behind Myna Kitchen’s growth. Your primary goal will be to expand our subscription base by building key relationships and securing new partnerships. This role involves both B2B and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) initiatives. Your day-to-day work will include: Identifying and securing new clients: You'll identify, approach, and onboard new corporate, institutional, and B2B clients such as offices, co-working spaces, gyms, and local businesses. Pitching our value: You'll effectively pitch our subscription model, highlighting the convenience, affordability, and health benefits of our meals, along with our menu quality and reliability. Executing growth strategies: You will create and implement outreach strategies, including cold outreach, events, referrals, and partnership collaborations, for both B2B and D2C channels. Managing the sales pipeline: You will be responsible for tracking prospects, negotiating deals, and closing new contracts. Ensuring smooth onboarding: You will work closely with our operations, kitchen, delivery, and customer support teams to ensure new clients are onboarded smoothly, including managing logistics and setting expectations. Analyzing performance: You'll monitor key subscription metrics like churn, retention, and upgrades, and use this data to suggest new growth initiatives. Contributing to product strategy: You will help shape pricing, packaging, and menu bundles based on client feedback and market competition. Representing the brand: When needed, you'll be the face of Myna Kitchen at events, networking meetups, or trade shows. Discipline and organization: You are organized, data-aware, and disciplined enough to track leads, follow up, and learn from what is and isn’t working. Resilience: You can face rejection, adapt quickly, and keep pushing forward. Local knowledge: You have knowledge of the Chennai market or the ability to quickly build a strong local network. Skills & Experience We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team. Must-Haves: 1-2+ years in a sales or business development role, with a strong preference for experience in a subscription or recurring revenue model. A proven track record of closing B2B or D2C partnership deals. Strong negotiation skills. The ability to manage a full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing and hand-off. Nice to Have: Experience in the food delivery, meal-kit, or subscription food business. Established connections in corporate offices, co-working spaces, gyms, or health and wellness verticals. Comfort using CRM tools, sales dashboards, and analytics. Experience in pricing, product bundling, or promotion strategy.
