Job Title: Dreamer - V (Industrial Design Intern) Location: Hybrid (Preference to Candidates from Powai, Mumbai) Duration: 6 months Reports To: Dreamer - I About the Role We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Industrial Design Intern to support our design team in creating innovative, user-centered products. This is a hands-on internship where you'll contribute directly to live projects—from early concept sketches to final presentation models. If you're passionate about solving problems through design and not afraid to challenge assumptions, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Assist in the development of design concepts through sketching, CAD modelling, and physical prototyping Support user research, competitive analysis, and design validation activities Create detailed 2D and 3D assets for internal reviews and client presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and manufacturing Help prepare visualizations and renderings for storytelling and design communication Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field Strong sketching and visualization skills—hand and digital Proficient in design software such as Blender/Rhino, Fusion 360/SolidWorks/Creo, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Understanding of human-centered design and physical product development Excellent communication and collaboration skills Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time across multiple projects Nice to Have Experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC, model making) Motion design or UI/UX experience is a plus Familiarity with sustainability and materials research What You’ll Gain Real-world experience in industrial design from concept to execution A chance to build your portfolio with meaningful work Direct mentorship from experienced designers and exposure to cross-disciplinary teams An inside look at how great products go from idea to production To Apply Submit your portfolio (PDF or website), resume, and a brief cover letter explaining why you're a good fit for this role to: hr@mymatrix.design
