Job Overview: The Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within a designated region,focusing on expanding our market presence and achieving sales targets for MyClassboard . This role requires a deep understanding of the educational technology landscape, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, Decision makers and Principals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets for MyClassboard products and solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions. Conduct visits to educational institutions such as schools, colleges, and universities based on generated leads. Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations of MyClassboard to potential clients. Conduct market research to understand local educational needs, trends, and competitive landscape. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in educational institutions and other relevant organizations. Manage and support major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and successful implementation of our solutions. Address and resolve any issues or concerns from clients to maintain strong, long-term partnerships. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior management. Utilize CRM systems and sales tools to manage client interactions, track leads, and monitor sales activities. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in educational technology and how they impact the market. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on customer insights and emerging trends in the EdTech sector. Collaborate with marketing, product management, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company objectives. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and educational events to promote our solutions and build brand awareness. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Education Technology, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 2 to 4 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the EdTech industry or a related sector. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of the education sector and its needs, challenges, and opportunities. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with educational stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions based on market insights. Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
