We are in look-out for Ladies Hostel Warden in a renowned medical institute located in Bengaluru Rural, details of which are as following: Job Position : Ladies Hostel Warden. Location : Bengaluru Rural (H oskote ). Qualification : Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant experience. Compensation : Commensurate with qualification and experience. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Warden shall periodically check the working, discipline, cleanliness and all other aspects of general administration of the hostel. Warden shall ensure that no ragging takes place inside the hostel premises and maintain strict watch over the same. Updates / Hostel statement i.e., sharing of rooms, vacated rooms, duration of stay, newly joined students to be given to the accounts department from time to time. Students are allowed to go to his/ her home only after prior approval from Principal / CEO. The same has to be entered in the register and keep a track of the same. Monitor whether the students have returned on time after the holidays/ leave. Warden should ensure whether the students are regular to the classes - a check should be made. Co-ordinate with maintenance department for any Hostel maintenance related issue and log book to be maintained. In case any student is sick, care to be taken including arrangement of food and coordinate for initial diagnosis to be made. To have a proper interaction with students and identify any issues related to hostel. To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the hostel premises. The laundry bags of the students to be handed over to the laundry staff and after completion to be handed over to the students. The collected amount has to be submitted to the accounts department. Monitor sufficient availability of dinking water, electricity, lighting, and other basic amenities to the students. Periodic surprise checks at (random) rooms to find out if any prohibited items like cigarette, liquor, non-beg and contraband items are used by the students. If found, to seize the same and bring to the notice of the Principal/ CEO for further action. If any students are found using expensive and power consuming electrical or electronic gadgets (including electric stove & cooker) - the same has to be confiscated and brought to the notice of the CEO for further action. To have strict vigil on the movement of the students inside the campus. Bringing friends / parents / relatives in the pretext of relatives for overnight stay is strictly prohibited. Celebrating birthday and other parties should be done only during day time in the authorized place with prior permission of reporting manager not inside the hostel premises, at any given time. The same as to be brought to the notice of Principal / CEO. Warden shall ensure to report any instance of workplace Sexual Harassment of student or the staff to the prevention of Sexual Harassment committee. Any other responsibility assigned by Principal / CEO from time to time. Hostel Warden shall ensure to maintain log book and provide periodical report to the CEO. Hostel Wardens are not supposed to the campus without prior permission of CEO. Log Book for food to be maintained y the Wardens. Warden shall ensure not to collect any financial favors or gift in cash or by any other means from any students during the service in the institution, not any unauthorized fine from students, to which extent - a separate undertaking needs to be provided to the management.
