Your Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Infrastructure, or Urban Planning from a reputed university. Post-graduation in Water, Environment, or Transportation. 25+ years of experience in infrastructure planning and urban development, including 7+ years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record of delivering complex urban infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of local and international codes, transport planning, urban policy, and utility coordination. International assignment experience (India or abroad) minimum 3 years. Contract management and bid process management experience preferred. Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with BIM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, InfraWorks, project management tools. Exposure to large area developments, FII projects, Smart City programs. Professional licensure (e.g., PE, CEng, PMP) is an advantage. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.

The ideal candidate for the position should have a Masters Degree in Electrical / Power systems Engineering with a minimum of 10-15 years of working experience in similar capacity. Proficiency with Power system study softwares like PSS Sincal, PSSE, PLS CAD, Dig silent etc. is required. Experience in Power System Studies, Grid Impact studies, on Transmission and Distribution projects etc. will be highly beneficial. In-depth knowledge of software languages such as Python/Java to automate processes will be an added advantage. The incumbent is expected to have prior experience working with electrical utilities like TRANSCO/SEC/ADDC and should have successfully delivered Power System Studies related projects. People management skills are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build and maintain client relations through effective communication and multidisciplinary coordination is crucial. The responsibilities of the role include power system analysis of transmission and distribution projects, conducting feasibility studies, masterplans, despatch studies, renewable integration, and grid code reviews. Preparation of Renewable generation connection schemes from distribution to utility scale generation is also an essential task, including determining the techno-economical optimum amount of renewable generation. The candidate will be responsible for conducting load flow studies, fault level calculations, harmonic analysis, voltage stability, and transient stability analysis on transmission, distribution, and industrial power systems using various tools such as DIgSILENT, PSS/E, PLEXOS, ETAP, CYME PSAF, ASPEN OneLiner, ASPEN database, and IPSA+. Reviewing and overseeing all Power System Studies technical submittals by EPC contractors/Developers in reference to Clients Electricity Transmission Code and International standards is a key part of the role. The candidate will also review the Power system models developed by EPC contractors and attend meetings to address technical clarifications raised by them. Additionally, the candidate will need to attend FAT & SAT visits to ensure that all performance criteria related to grid compliance requirements are met. The incumbent will review the updated models received from EPC based on FAT/SAT reports and ensure that all grid compliance requirements agreed upon during the detail design stage are met. Assisting the Client in incorporating equipment models provided by EPC contractors into the TRANSCO network PSSE & PSCAD models suitable for various planning studies is also a part of the responsibilities. The power system studies review work will include but not be limited to: Reactive power capability study, Grid impact study, Transient and dynamic stability studies, Insulation co-ordination study, Switching transient study, Faulted transient switching study, Transformer Energization study, AC/DC harmonics and flicker study, AC/DC harmonic filter sizing report, Harmonic impedance locus identification and analysis study, AC protection relay setting coordination study, and Sub-synchronous resonance studies. You will be responsible for overseeing BIM implementation across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Your role involves coordinating BIM activities, ensuring compliance with project-specific BIM Execution Plans, and industry standards. You will oversee clash detection, model coordination, and integration using tools like Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM 360. Additionally, you will support the development and enforcement of project-specific BIM protocols and workflows. Leading coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client teams is an essential part of your job. You will review and validate 3D models for accuracy, level of detail (LOD), and constructability.
