You are an experienced and strategic Senior NetSuite Consultant - Finance, sought after to join a growing Data team. Your expertise encompasses a strong technical background and functional knowledge in finance, allowing you to handle intricate NetSuite ERP implementations and financial processes. An in-depth understanding of NetSuite customization, system architecture, and finance operations equips you to spearhead impactful business transformation initiatives. You will be based in Bangalore or Mumbai and required to work in the office setting. Your responsibilities will include: NetSuite Technical Expertise: - Developing and executing advanced customizations using SuiteScript (1.0/2.0) for workflows, Suitelets, Restlets, and other integrations. - Managing integration development between NetSuite and third-party systems (e.g., Salesforce, Avalara, SAP) using SuiteTalk, Restlets, and custom APIs. - Designing and optimizing Saved Searches, Advanced PDF templates, and custom reports to support business operations and financial reporting. Finance Functional Expertise: - Collaborating with finance teams to ensure system configurations align with accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards. - Acting as a liaison between finance and IT teams to translate financial requirements into technical solutions. - Leading the design and deployment of solutions for key finance processes such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue management, multi-currency consolidation, and financial forecasting. Solution Architecture and Implementation: - Architecting scalable and efficient NetSuite-based solutions to address technical and functional needs. - Leading end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations and upgrades to ensure seamless adoption of finance functionalities. - Conducting workshops and training sessions to enhance end-user adoption and effectiveness. Collaboration and Leadership: - Partnering with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to deliver comprehensive solutions. - Mentoring junior team members and providing guidance on NetSuite development, integrations, and financial processes. - Serving as the primary point of contact for resolving complex technical and functional issues. Your technical skills should include: - Advanced SuiteScript 1.0/2.0 development experience. - Proficiency in NetSuite modules like Advanced Financials, Fixed Assets, and OneWorld. - Expertise in financial modeling, accounting systems, and regulatory compliance. - Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies. - Hands-on experience with reporting tools and technologies such as Advanced PDFs, SQL, or Python. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. - NetSuite certifications are highly desirable. - 6+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP and financial systems. - Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial implementations and integrations. - Strong problem-solving skills with strategic and tactical thinking capabilities. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Avalara, Salesforce, and OpenAir for system integrations. - Deep understanding of multi-subsidiary setups, intercompany processes, and global financial consolidations. - Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
