You are an experienced Service Engineer with a mechanical or electrical engineering background, sought by Shree Umiya F-Tech Machinery to handle the installation, servicing, and maintenance of advanced woodworking and panel processing machinery. Your key responsibilities will include installing, commissioning, and servicing a range of woodworking machinery like CNC Router, Panel Saw, Beam Saw, Cold Press, Multi-Boring Machines, CNC 6-Side Drilling Machines, and Automatic Edge Blender. You will be expected to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related faults, provide on-site and remote support during machine breakdowns, conduct preventive maintenance, system upgrades, machine trials, customer training, and documentation. Moreover, you will need to collaborate with internal teams for escalated service issues and parts management. To excel in this role, you must possess strong hands-on knowledge of woodworking and panel processing machinery, familiarity with automatic edge blenders, servo systems, drives, control panels, and basic PLC troubleshooting, as well as the ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Your problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and readiness to travel extensively for service support will be essential in fulfilling the requirements of this position. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of relevant service experience.
