What you'll do You will design, implement, document, and maintain various modules within SAP Database Cloud services. You will identify areas of improvements to current design and advocates alternative method to enhance current working set Innovate, File Patents and generate IP for SAP. You will build Cloud optimization services from conception to operations. You deliver technical excellence by designing and developing a solution or product. You contribute to the development of new products and features, based on customers requirements and aiming for a wide range of use cases. You will own and work with engineering team in different geographic locations to diagnose and resolve design issues and customer reported problems. You provide hands-on contribution for creating high-quality Cloud services and you share your expertise and knowledge with your team members. You help design and develop the Cloud-based features and enhancements for products and solutions. You will follow the software development cycle from inception and requirement to successful release of product. What you bring You have a B.Tech, M.Tech. degree from top-tier educational institutes with 0-3 years experience. You have some high-level experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and GIT. You have some experience in designing, architecting and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture. Experience with at least one software programming language. You have some experience in designing, architecting and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture. Some high-level experience working with high-availability, distributed systems and services in a hosting environment including hardware, OS, storage, network, and database solutions. 0 to 3 years of experience in Cloud services development Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, Java, Golang. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements. Interact with critical customers around the globe, through e-mail, calls, etc. and work towards resolving escalations. Articulate technical information clearly. Provide training and assist on knowledge transfer. Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs and estimate the effort required to complete projects. Analyze the performance and scalability of HANA Relational Engine and HANA Datalake. What you bring- B.Tech.or M.Tech. degree from a top-tier educational institute with 3-7 years work experience. Good knowledge of database architecture and possess analytical skills. Experience in designing, architecting, and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture. Experience in distributed computing development, such as distributed database design, cluster file system etc., is a strong plus. Able to multi-task and work independently and take initiative to prioritize and resolve problems. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Tech you bring- You have a strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages with some knowledge in database internals and/or operating system internals with strong debugging skills.
