Job Description: As a Central Merchandiser - Divine at Malabar Gold & Diamonds, you will be responsible for implementing the merchandising strategy for Divine Collections. This exclusive collection of traditional jewelry is based on heritage, culture, art, and craft. Your primary goal will be to align the merchandising strategy with the overall business strategy to achieve growth and profitability for the business. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain the product catalogue and design bank for Divine collections. - Design planograms and assortment mix to cater to customer preferences. - Monitor Divine photo shoots for products to assist stakeholders in selecting the most suitable products. - Gather insights on catchment preferences, peak seasons, and planned campaigns through external research. - Manage the rotation of aged/dead stock to optimize inventory turnover. - Provide inputs on vendor returns guidelines for Divine collections to aid in finalizing vendor contracts. - Assist in determining the carrying cost of stocks at discounted prices to manage slow-moving products. - Identify stock redistribution among stores using analytics dashboards for effective inventory management. - Identify dead stock to be melted or returned to vendors to minimize losses for Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
