About the Role We are hiring a Senior Procurement Manager IT for our client in the BFSI and Healthcare sectors. The role will focus on evaluating, shortlisting, and managing vendors in areas such as Cloud, DevOps, IT Infrastructure, SaaS solutions, cybersecurity, and digital platforms . The candidate will play a strategic role in aligning IT procurement with business needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and vendor excellence. Key Responsibilities Vendor Shortlisting & Evaluation Identify, evaluate, and shortlist IT vendors (Cloud, DevOps, SaaS, Infra, Security, Managed Services). Conduct due diligence, vendor risk assessment, and capability evaluation. Work with technical teams to ensure vendor offerings meet business and compliance needs. Strategic IT Procurement Define sourcing strategies for IT services and solutions. Drive RFP/RFQ processes, negotiations, and contract finalization. Optimize costs without compromising service levels and innovation. Vendor Relationship Management Establish long-term partnerships with technology providers. Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs. Ensure vendors comply with regulatory standards relevant to BFSI and Healthcare. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight Align procurement activities with industry compliance (RBI, HIPAA, ISO, GDPR, etc.). Maintain audit-readiness and transparent procurement records. Collaboration & Advisory Partner with IT, DevOps, Cloud, and Security leaders to understand business requirements. Act as procurement advisor to leadership for IT sourcing and digital transformation. Support multi-million-dollar technology sourcing programs across BFSI and Healthcare. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Technology (MBA/PGDM preferred). 10–15 years of procurement experience , with strong exposure to IT vendor management . Proven track record in shortlisting, negotiating, and onboarding vendors in Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), DevOps, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, SaaS platforms . Strong understanding of BFSI and Healthcare technology procurement challenges. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and vendor governance skills. Experience with procurement tools (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, etc.). What You Get A strategic leadership role shaping IT procurement in BFSI & Healthcare.
