Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Back End Engineer to lead the build-out of scalable, distributed systems on AWS . This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, 12-Factor App methodology, and event-driven design patterns . You will play a critical role in both hands-on engineering and strategic architectural decisions , working closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact, resilient, and secure solutions . Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Architecture Lead the design and implementation of 12-Factor cloud-native applications optimized for scalability and continuous deployment. Architect and build distributed systems using C#/.NET and AWS-native services. Design and orchestrate event-driven architectures leveraging AWS EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, SNS, and SQS. Implement microservices architectures with well-defined service boundaries and asynchronous communication. Ensure solutions align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and business stakeholders for requirements gathering and timely project delivery. Observability & Performance Excellence Develop telemetry strategies using OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and X-Ray. Implement continuous improvement practices based on operational data and business outcomes. Required Qualifications Technical Expertise (Must-Have) 3+ years of software development experience. Hands-on expertise in 12-Factor App methodology . Strong proficiency in AWS services : EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, RDS Aurora. Advanced programming skills in C#/.NET, TypeScript, RESTful APIs . Working knowledge of Angular (v10+) , TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with DevSecOps practices including container security. Proficiency with SQL & NoSQL databases . Solid understanding of SDLC, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices . Proven experience in microservices and event-driven architectures in production. Leadership & Collaboration (Must-Have) Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, UX, and business teams . Preferred Qualifications Multi-cloud exposure ( Azure, Google Cloud ). Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Event Sourcing . Hands-on with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, cloud-native deployments .
