Introduction An IBM Partner Technical Specialist is a technical expert who helps clients, sales teams, and business partners understand and use IBMs products and services. They also work with partners to integrate IBMs technology into their solutions Your role and responsibilities Influence customer/business/service partners technical strategy to include IBMs technology Embed IBMs technology into customer/business/service partners reference architectures, practices, and solutions Help business/service partners sales and technical teams demonstrate IBMs technology to their clients Required education Bachelors Degree Preferred education Masters Degree Required technical and professional expertise 3+ years of experience in enterprise storage solutions. - Proven experience in designing, implementing, and supporting storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage. - Knowledge of integrating storage solutions with servers and virtualized environments (e.g. KVM, VMware, Hyper-V). Specific Knowledge: - Hands-on experience with IBM Storage products (e.g., IBM FlashSystem, IBM DS8000, IBM Storage SW like Ceph, Fusion etc). - Familiarity with related technologies such as NVMe, RAID, and data deduplication. - Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. - Expertise in storage cybersecurity, including immutable backups and ransomware protection.
