Here is the job description: Job Title: Mulesoft Architect/ Lead Location: Remote Job Type: Full Time Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mulesoft Architect/ Lead with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MuleSoft ESB, API development, and integration frameworks , along with strong Java and J2EE experience. This role requires hands-on experience in API lifecycle management, data transformation, and enterprise service design using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft API solutions for enterprise integration. Lead the design, build, test, debug, deploy, and management of APIs and integrations using MuleSoft ESB . Develop and manage enterprise services using RAML, REST-based APIs, SOAP web services , and MuleSoft connectors (e.g., File, HTTP, SAP, CXF). Perform data transformation and implement message routing using MuleSoft ESB. Work with JMS Messaging (Apache MQ, HornetQ, or similar tools) for asynchronous processing. Develop and optimize RESTful and SOAP-based web services for integration with third-party systems. Utilize XML, XSD, and JSON for data validation and transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure integration solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing . Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in integration development. Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support troubleshooting complex issues. Engage with stakeholders and manage customer expectations related to technical integrations . Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in MuleSoft ESB , SOA , API development , and Java-based backend integration. Certified in MuleSoft 4.x and/or MuleSoft 3.9 . Expertise in REST/SOAP Web Services, API Management, and API Gateways . Strong hands-on experience with RAML, Mule connectors (SAP, HTTP, File, etc.), and Anypoint Studio . Proficiency in Postman, SOAPUI, Maven , and other API testing/debugging tools. Experience with JMS messaging and integration patterns . Solid understanding of SQL/PLSQL and database integration concepts. Hands-on experience integrating SAP, Oracle , or other enterprise applications is a plus. Experience with Python is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills . Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with JDA Connect architecture .
