Job Description I. Technical Hardware Support : The scope of the job to be covered will include technical support for existing PC – LAN servers/Net Books/ Printers & Connecting Peripherals. This will include:  Providing first level support  Problem isolation  Trouble shooting  Problem resolution  Support for new installation/upgrades/changes  Daily/Weekly/Monthly Backup Systems for Data Security. Device to be provided.  Spares management and co-ordination II. LAN Management Support :  Network configuration and fine tuning  Network performance monitoring  Network performance enhancement LAN administration support which will include activities like:  Problem isolation  Trouble shooting  Problem resolution  Support to new upgrades/new installation and commissioning on NOS (Network Operating Systems)  Fault finding III. eMail Support :  Monitoring of Mail traffic  Support for email related problems IV. OS/Office Automation Management Support : The scope of job to be covered will include:  Support for various Operating Systems  Support for various Office Automation packages  Administration of entire set up  Performance administration ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Support for Virus Control & Definition Updates  Trouble shooting /Problem resolution  Support for new O/S and Office Automation s/w  Disk Space Management V. Support on Showbizz Software installed at your location : The scope of the job to be covered will include:  Basic troubleshooting of the problem faced with the specific software  Co-ordination with Software principals/vendors to solve the matter face above and if not being able to fix it locally VI. Others :  Implementation of internal call tracking systems which includes  Call reporting  Call resolution  Call escalation  Development and implementation of all required IT procedures for making a better interface with End- Users. Any other activities that the Management may decide from time to time.
