Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure product quality meets company and regulatory standards. Create and revise quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, procedures, and reports. 2. Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections and tests on painted components and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize tools, gauges, and other testing equipment to identify defects or deviations from standards. 3. Verify the marking and tagging requirements according to the standards and customer requirements. 4. Assure and verify the valve preservation and packing requirements in accordance with the standards and customer requirements. 5. Conduct Final inspection, dimensional, and functional testing as required. 6. Problem-Solving and Corrective Actions: Investigate product non-conformities, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Communicate findings to relevant departments and track progress on resolutions. 7. Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001, API standards, etc. Stay updated with changes in relevant standards and integrate them into processes. 8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions. Generate regular quality control reports and present findings to management. 9. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are understood and implemented. Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices. 10. Audits: Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring processes comply with audit requirements. Participate in supplier audits to ensure material and component quality. 11. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and process optimization projects. 12. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality requirements. Perform supplier evaluations and manage supplier non-conformance issues... QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Diploma in Mechanical Engg / Bachelor of Engineering BGAS Gr.2 or Nace Level 1 Painting Inspector 3 - 4 years of Valves/other related industry experience. Basic NDT is added advantage
