This type of counseling focuses on addressing the physical, psychological, and social aspects of addiction, helping individuals understand the underlying causes of their substance or behavioral dependencies, develop coping strategies, and work toward achieving and maintaining sobriety or abstinence. The ultimate goal is to support individuals in their journey towards recovery and a healthier, substance-free life.
