MSSQL Database Admin

You will be responsible for the following tasks: - Installation, configuration, and upgrading of SQL Server instances. - Designing, implementing, and managing database backup and recovery strategies. - Performing database maintenance tasks such as indexing, defragmentation, and statistics updates. - Analyzing and resolving performance-related issues. - Implementing and administering high availability solutions, Always On Availability Groups, Logshipping. - Applying knowledge on SQL Server encryption, TDE & TLS encryption. - Working with development teams to optimize database applications and designs. - Collaborating with other IT teams on infrastructure and system-related issues. - Diagnosing and resolving database-related incidents and problems. - Providing technical support to developers and end-users. - Performing root cause analysis for critical incidents. Qualifications required: - Mandatory skills in SQL with Disaster Recovery & High Availability. - 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar role.
