Primary Duties and Responsibilities Job Description – Export Documentation Job Summary: We are seeking fresh graduates with a passion for accuracy and efficiency to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional typing skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Bills of Lading for shipments across various countries while adhering to specific country exceptions. Analyse and audit bills processed with a focus on maintaining high levels of accuracy. Ensure that all tasks meet or exceed SLAs. Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and Excel, for day-to-day tasks. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet departmental goals. Qualifications and Skills: Recent graduate with strong typing skills and excellent communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Attention to detail and ability to analyse and audit documentation effectively. Flexibility to work in various shifts, including public and festive holidays. Import Documentation Executive – IGM & SCMT Filing We are searching for an experienced Import Documentation Executive – IGM & SCMT Filing at our MSC India - Mumbai facility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: IGM Filing: Prepare and file Import General Manifest (IGM) via ICEGATE portal. Ensure accuracy of shipment details: Bill of Lading, consignee/shipper info, HS codes, port of origin/destination, etc. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and CHAs for timely data submission. Amend IGM entries if required and ensure compliance with Customs Act, 1962. SCMT Filing: File Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment details as per Indian customs regulations. Ensure timely submission of SCMT data before vessel arrival. Liaise with shipping lines and port authorities for manifest accuracy. Uploading the file into ODEX and generation of Json files for SAM/SDM Compliance & Documentation: Maintain records of all filed manifests and correspondence. Ensure adherence to customs regulations and avoid penalties or delays. Track and resolve discrepancies flagged by customs. Coordination & Communication: Work closely with internal teams (import, operation , logistics, finance) and external stakeholders (customs brokers, shipping lines). Provide updates on shipment status and manifest filing to relevant parties. Technology & Reporting: Use ICEGATE and other customs portals for filing and tracking including through knowledge on SCMT MIG (message implantation guide) Experience in use of ODEX platform for customs filing Generate reports on manifest filings, delays, and compliance metrics. Required Qualifications Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Commerce, Logistics, or International Trade). 2–5 years of experience in import documentation or customs filing. Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures and ICEGATE portal. Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
