As a Developer at our company, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the technical detailed design (Low-Level Design) of systems for medium to large projects. Your duties will include hands-on development of external-facing web applications, writing Store Procedures, conducting unit testing, and assisting in the deployment of code changes. Your responsibilities will be divided between code development, debugging, analysis, and designing solutions for high-priority and complex systems within projects. Additionally, you will need to provide status updates on your work and review the work of Engineers within the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on challenges such as requirements elicitation, understanding, analysis, and management. You will contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting by estimating tasks and resources required for module design and testing. Collaboration with tech managers to ensure compliance with Guardian standards on technology, tools, and processes is also a key aspect of the role. You will be involved in the development and support of high-priority and complex systems, ensuring code meets functional specifications, detailed design, maintainability, and efficiency standards. Peer reviews of code, testing, debugging, and documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have 2-4 years of experience in application analysis, design, and development. Proficiency in C#, Asp.Net MVC, HTML/CSS/Javascript, SQL, OOPS concepts, react, SOAP/REST APIs, Visual Studio, and other relevant technologies is required. Experience with code versioning tools, creating interfaces for communication between applications, and knowledge of application architecture and design patterns will be beneficial. You should possess a strong understanding of OOPS concepts, relational database concepts, and application performance management. Experience in Agile/DevOps models, cloud-related technologies, and microservices development will be advantageous. Additionally, having experience with SQL Server, automated testing, XML, JSON, and continuous integration is desirable. Education requirements for this role include a degree in B.E. Computers, IT, MCA, MSc IT, or Computer Science. This position is available in locations such as Chennai and Gurgaon.
