1. Complete knowledge of Backup and recovery
2. Should have knowledge of Database Security policies
3. Should have knowledge of high availability (Cluster, Mirroring, logshipping, always on)
4. Performance monitoring and tuning
5. Should have good knowledge of issues and trouble shooting.
6. Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
7. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
8. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
9. Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
10. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
11. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
12. Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
13. Excellent written and verbal communication
14. Ability to organize and plan work independently
15. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
