Job Area: Information Technology Group, Information Technology Group > IT Engineering General Summary: Candidate in this role will be required to operate in India hours. Manage operational and support responsibilities for numerous critical services supporting Qualcomm's software engineering environment globally. Experience in handling operations role to lead delivery for Tier1/Tier2 with SLA"™s and Process enhancements. Expected to support and troubleshoot existing systems, solve technical challenges, and enhance the reliability and performance for the services. Provide technical support with an emphasis on customer service for CI/CD, Jenkins, Windows, Linux, UNIX, networking, enterprise applications. Front-end Application and Systems support for Software Engineering Compute. Basic troubleshooting of Windows & Linux related issues. Basic troubleshooting of specific applications & tools. Minimum Qualifications: "¢ 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree. OR 5+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor"™s degree. Physical Requirements: "¢ Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs. Excellent oral and written communication skills Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server OS' fundamentals, NFS, CIFS, file systems, Networking, Performance tuning, Scripting, Active Directory. Experience in Microsoft OS (Windows 2012, Windows 2008, Windows 2003, MS Clustering). AND/OR Linux/Unix (Ubuntu 12, 14 & 16, RedHat Linux ES 5, and 6) Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts Must be a self-starter, team player Excellent troubleshooting skills and customer support experience Customer Service oriented and thrive in a dynamic environment Experience in any of Linux, Ubuntu, redhat and clustering technologies and scripting knowledge on Shell, Python.
