As a Senior Estimator at Crombie, you will play a crucial role in the success of the organization by providing estimating support to the Leasing, Development, and Design & Construction teams. Your responsibilities will include analyzing drawings, specifications, bids, and market trend reports to prepare accurate estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor for various construction projects across retail, office, industrial, and residential sectors. You will collaborate with the Estimating team to implement construction and development strategies, review internal tender results against project budgets, and provide feedback on tender vs budget comparisons. Keeping up to date with market conditions and regional pricing data, you will ensure that all budgets and estimates are well-researched and reflective of current trends in the industry. In addition, you will liaise with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal Crombie departments to create accurate estimates, assist in project schedule development, and support cost monitoring and reporting systems.
