MRI Technician

As an MRI technician, your main responsibility will be to follow Physicians" instructions and explain the MRI procedure to patients. You will need to select software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine, view images from the imaging session, and maintain records of reports. Operating MRI scanners to capture images of patients" bodies for diagnostic testing is a crucial part of your role. Your clear images will assist physicians in providing accurate diagnoses to patients. You will have various responsibilities as an MRI technician, including explaining the MRI process to patients, ensuring their compliance with safety standards, positioning and potentially sedating patients for clear image capture, and managing IVs and catheters. Your tasks will also involve maneuvering the MRI equipment, monitoring patients during scanning, and maintaining their records. It is essential to ensure clear images for accurate diagnoses, identify abnormalities in images, and analyze patient histories thoroughly. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries involving metal objects, preparing and administering contrast dyes, addressing patient concerns to ensure their comfort during scans, and performing regular inspections on MRI equipment. Maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in MRI rooms, training junior MRI Technologists, and writing reports are also part of your duties. You will need to escalate any problems to the relevant stakeholders, carry out quality assurance procedures, and make necessary improvements. This is a full-time, permanent position that may require day shifts, rotational shifts, and weekend availability. An ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. The work location will be in person.,
