Position: Electrical Site Engineer Experience: 2+ years in electrical distribution systems Location: Mumbai Industry: Power Distribution/Transmission, Utilities, EPC Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Engineer with expertise in distribution systems , installation/erection of electrical equipment, and site execution. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with VCB, RMU, Transformers, LV/HV UG cables, jointing & terminations , along with testing and troubleshooting. Knowledge of relay settings, manpower handling, client coordination, and contractor billing is essential. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation & Erection: o Hands-on experience in erection/installation of VCB, RMU, Transformers, LV/HV underground cables, jointing & terminations . o Ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. 2. Testing & Commissioning: o Conduct testing, inspection, and rectification of electrical equipment. o Knowledge of relay settings, protection schemes, and fault analysis . 3. Site & Project Management: o Manage manpower, subcontractors, and daily site operations. o Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for smooth execution. o Prepare progress reports, contractor bills, and documentation . 4. Technical Expertise: o Read and interpret electrical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred). o Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution. 5. Compliance & Safety: o Ensure adherence to safety protocols (BEST/MSEDCL/CPWD standards) . o Knowledge of IS/IEC standards for electrical installations. Desired Skills & Qualifications: · Diploma/B.E. in Electrical Engineering. · 2+ years in electrical distribution projects (preferably in BEST, MSEDCL, or utility projects ). · Strong knowledge of HT/LT distribution systems, cable laying, and substation equipment . · Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing drawings. · Good communication & reporting skills. Preferred Experience: · Worked with BEST, MSEDCL, TATA Power, or other DISCOMs in Mumbai . · Exposure to contractor billing, progress monitoring, and client handling .
