You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in CICS programming. Your main responsibilities will include analyzing Mainframe CICS program code and devising algorithms. Strong knowledge of Host Change Management and proficiency in DB2 along with the ability to write SQL queries are essential for this role. Effective communication skills are required as you will be working independently with the onsite team. You should be capable of debugging CICS programs using tools like Intertest or Trace Master and possess knowledge of MQ queue and web services. Experience in working with Online and Batch Cobol programs is necessary. Familiarity with EDI is considered an added advantage. Additionally, you must be well-versed in the zOS operating system.
