Must have IIB product knowledge and SSL configuration, etc MQ/IIB Administrator ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The primary function of the Application Administrator is to implement, maintain, monitor, and support production and non-production application landscapes hosted in the datacenter Administer and support customer n-tier applications Proactively manage and maintain web servers & application servers Alert customer with up-to-date security patch updates Release maintenance and management Adherence to change management process 24x7 application availability support and incident management Present technical findings from incidents to customers and management, including future recommendations Assist in defining engineering standards and ensuring standards are executed within the environment Keep support documents up to date Proactively identify and automate the routine tasks or hand over to operations Implement customer projects promptly Disaster Recovery support Capacity planning Performance tuning Required Qualifications: 8-10+ years of administrative experience using IBM MQ Family tool sets including IBM Message Broker, IIB, MQ, and ACE 11.x Create and manage MQ QM infrastructure Create and maintain IIB nodes/Integration Servers Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, etc), PKI concepts, SSL, AAA, Web Service Proxies, XML firewalls, and multi-protocol gateways. Load balancing of the IIB/MQ traffic Excellent working knowledge of all versions of Windows, Unix, Linux, and AIX Support / Install WebSphere QMGRs on MQ Appliance Distributed UNIX environment Install / Upgrade / Configure IBM Integration Bus Auto Deploy Code to IBM Integration Bus Good knowledge of JMS (Java Message Service), Web Services, Troubleshoot MQ issues related to message-driven beans Migrate QMGRs from Distributed env to MQ Appliance Proficient in IBM WebSphere MQ & IBM Message Broker/IBM Integration Bus administration (v5,6,7,9,10) Experience in Installation and Administration of IIB and MQ on various platforms Working Knowledge with IIB 10 and ACE 11 Monitoring application and system logs to identify problems/issues proactively Configuration like ODBC, Configurable Services in IIB Understanding of Best practices to be followed in IIB Good understanding of implementing security in IIB Extensive knowledge and experience in IIB 9/10/ACE 11 Worked in vast setups of IIB Experience in troubleshooting IIB Responsible for designing and implementing advanced MQ & Broker Basic scripting knowledge. Maintain daily logs of operational issues and maintenance activities; Contribute to business meetings and report on issue status Address customer issues promptly and accurately Apply ITIL methodologies Good communication skills

Location-Bangalore Hybrid-2days Mq Admin QUALIFICATIONS 5-8 years demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting MQ messaging infrastructure. Hands on experience on recovery in MQ. 5 or more years of experience in developing/customizing messaging related monitoring tools/utilities. Overall 5+ Years of experience in Middleware & System Engineering MQ on Unix/Linux/Solaris . Good programming knowledge/experience with one or more languages (ex. Java, node.js, python, shell) Considerable experience in implementing key/trust store management. Support 24*7 Model and be available to support rotational on-call work ( including Saturday/Sunday ) Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system. Experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations. High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy. Position Summary The Shared Application Platform Engineering team is to provide the enterprise configuration and support for integration technologies such as IBM Middleware tools like MQ and ensure the platform stability and process improvement. Responsibilities include planning, support, and implementation of application platform infrastructure to include operational processes and procedures. Job Responsibilities Handle MQ Admin BAU activities such as manage QMGRs & Objects/maintenance/patching/ configurations etc. Should have knowledge on SSL Certificate management, security vulnerabilities in MQ Scheduling and Monitoring MQ backups & performing housekeeping and daily health check Install & Configure IBM MQ Support Project for MQ upgrade or migrate to new version and apply Fixpack/Interim Fixpack, Refresh Pack/Ifix etc. Setting up new QMGRs and its object Investigate and Troubleshot issues in MQ Knowledge on Performance Tuning or optimizing of MQ Coordinate with Systems Administrators, UNIX, Network and DBAs, scheduling and implementing software patches & upgrades Support development/functional teams with performance tuning and troubleshooting issues & Co-ordinatr with IBM vendor Monitor and acknowledge Incidents/Change-Tickets/SRs/Problem-Tickets within SLA Working Knowledge on RCA's & SIP's & Automating tasks Provide Support for MQ DR activity Basic knowledge of shell scripting or Ansible to manage & create MQ admin related tasks for automation Good communication, written skills & interacting with Client & Stake holders Create knowledge base documents and SOPs for the Middleware support Handling Problem management calls and provide the RCA for the P1/P2 issues Good knowledge on IIB and/or APIC Basic knowledge on IBM-CP4I and/or OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field Experience 7+ years of total experience and at least 4+ years of experience in Middlware applications like MQ Admin BAU activities such as manage QMGRs & Objects/maintenance/patching/ configurations.
