Perform NDT inspections such as Ultrasonic Inspection, MPI Inspection, Dye Penetrant inspection. Should have hands on experience to perform NDT with own hands, referring to ASME/EN / GE’s/other standards. Perform review of supplier’s documents such as manufacturing Process Plan (MPP), NDT procedures, NDT (UT) Scan plan. Also perform review of supplier’s Quality documents (internal reports) with respect to GE drawings and technical specifications. Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings, Codes, specifications to verify that products are following the requirements set forth in these documents. Extensive out-station travel to supplier’s place will be required to perform the inspections.
