Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child Psychologist with an M.Phil. and 2–3 years of clinical experience to join our multidisciplinary team at a psychiatric hospital in Varanasi. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues in children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, developmental evaluations, and diagnostic interviews with children and their families.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as CBT, play therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Develop individualized treatment and behavior management plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, speech therapists, and special educators.
• Offer counseling and psychoeducation to parents and caregivers.
• Work with children facing challenges such as ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, learning difficulties, and trauma.
• Maintain detailed clinical records and prepare assessment/treatment reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, awareness programs, and parent training sessions.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in child psychology and mental health.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or Child Psychology from an RCI-recognized institute.
• Valid RCI registration is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in child and adolescent mental health settings (hospital, clinic, or school).
• Strong communication, observational, and documentation skills.
• Fluency in Hindi and English.
