The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of embedded systems development, focusing on multimedia. With 5 years of experience in implementing various GStreamer based players, you will be responsible for effectively utilizing embedded Linux, C, and C++ programming skills. Expertise in network protocols, network traffic capture, and in-depth analysis for troubleshooting packet transmission timings are essential. Furthermore, the candidate must possess expert-level knowledge of multicast, ABR, and A/V streaming technologies in IP networks. Understanding video transmission CDN configuration and its impact on player behavior, buffering, retry latency, etc., is crucial. Proficiency in various streaming technologies and A/V containers such as HLS, MPEG, DASH, as well as experience with DRM used in OTT streaming like PlayReady are required. Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred. Skills in Video Streaming, Set-top Box, and DVB technologies would be an added advantage for this role.,
