Open Positions: Restaurant Captain – 3 Vacancies Waiter – 4 Vacancies Cashier – 2 Vacancies Assistant Waiter – 4 Vacancies Position Details: Restaurant Captain Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner. Assist guests with table reservations and seating. Ensure guests are serviced within the specified time. Have a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language. Answer any questions regarding the menu and assist with menu selections. Anticipate any unexpected guest needs and react promptly and tactfully. Apply service techniques correctly at all times and serve food & beverage items with enthusiasm. Set tables according to the type of event and service standards. Record transactions/orders in Point of Sales systems at the time of order. Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait, and product availability. Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift. Review order dockets ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements accordingly. Present accurate final bills to guests and process payments. Ensure that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized. Work with fellow staff and managers to ensure that the restaurant achieves its full potential. Take an active role in coaching and developing junior staff. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field. 2–3 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained from a reputable establishment. Excellent guest service skills and a pleasing personality. Good command of both spoken and written English. Waiter Responsibilities: Greet and escort customers to their tables. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked. Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses. Inform customers about the day’s specials. Offer menu recommendations upon request. Take accurate food and drinks orders. Communicate order details to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drink orders. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation. Deliver checks and collect bill payments. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning. Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials and service specifications. Follow all relevant health department regulations. Provide excellent customer service to guests. Requirements: Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress. Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems. Basic math skills. Attentiveness and patience for customers. Excellent presentation skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Active listening and effective communication skills. Team spirit and flexibility to work in shifts. High school diploma; food safety training is a plus. Cashier Responsibilities: Manage transactions with customers using cash registers. Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate. Collect payments in cash or credit. Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets. Redeem stamps and coupons. Cross-sell products and introduce new ones. Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information. Greet customers when entering or leaving the store. Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas. Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies. Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages. Handle merchandise returns and exchanges. Requirements: Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales. Basic PC knowledge. Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cash registers and point-of-sales systems. Strong math skills. Excellent communication and time management skills. Customer satisfaction-oriented and team-oriented. High school diploma or equivalent. Assistant Waiter Responsibilities: Assist waiters in serving food and beverages to guests. Clear and reset tables promptly. Ensure cleanliness of dining areas. Refill water glasses and attend to guest needs. Support waiters in delivering excellent service. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning. Assist in setting up tables and arranging utensils. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong team spirit and communication skills. Flexibility to work in shifts.
