Moulding machine Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and troubleshooting of Injection Moulding Machines and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to lead maintenance activities and mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines and related equipment (robots, hot runners, chillers, dryers, etc.).
• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and automation systems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and parts replacements.
• Ensure all machines and equipment comply with safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams for mould changes and machine trials.
• Assist in inventory management of critical spare parts.
• Train and guide junior technicians on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in injection moulding machine maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of machines like Haitian, Arburg, Engel, Ferromatik, Toshiba, etc.
• Familiarity with PLCs (basic troubleshooting), sensors, VFDs, and control systems.
• Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic circuit reading and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and TPM methodologies is an advantage.

Key Skills:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read machine manuals, circuit diagrams, and service documentation.
• Hands-on, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.

Work Conditions:

• Factory-based role; physically demanding at times.
• May involve shift work, weekend duty, or emergency on-call hours.
• Use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
