Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute Automotive Mold Designs including: Slider & Lifter 2-Plate, 3-Plate, and Hot Runner Molds Utilize UGNX (Unigraphics) software for precision mold design Conduct DFM , feasibility studies , and integrate undercut release mechanisms Estimate mold costing , prepare BOQs, and assist in machine selection Collaborate with Tool Room, Manufacturing, and Quality teams Ensure high-quality designs meeting performance, cost, and time objectives Must-Have Skills: Expertise in UGNX (Unigraphics) Strong command over Automotive Injection Mold Design Knowledge of Engineering Plastic Materials Experience in DFM , feasibility studies, and design validation Cost estimation and mold tonnage selection Added Advantages: Hands-on with complex mold mechanisms: Unscrewing Mechanism Helical Gear Inside Slider/Lifter Cavity Side Slider Exposure to Mold Flow Analysis Understanding of Injection Molding Process Familiarity with Tool Room Operations and Steel Selection Ability to troubleshoot plastic defects Involvement in mold development and manufacturing
