Position Title: Manager / Senior Manager Embedded Systems (Firmware Design) Education : Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field. Experience : 5 - 10 years Work Location: Navi Mumbai (Mahape) Key Responsibility: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C. Work with Linux-based embedded systems and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering. Debug and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and safety. Document design specifications, code, and test procedures. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development. Proficiency in Embedded C programming. Strong experience with Linux and FreeRTOS in embedded environments. Solid understanding of the embedded development life cycle and best practices. Experience with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Good to Have: Experience working on motor protection applications. Knowledge of functional safety standards. Exposure to cybersecurity in embedded systems (e.g., secure boot, encryption, secure communication). Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART.
