As a member of the Creative Design Team at Gray Matrix in Mumbai, you will have the opportunity to contribute your creative skills and experience to shape the direction of design rather than simply focusing on decoration. We are seeking individuals who have a deep understanding of design principles and have the ability to build clarity, meaning, and magic in their work, pixel by pixel and frame by frame. Your role will involve crafting brand visuals, UI/UX journeys, and content that not only looks good but also feels impactful. Whether you are working on a carousel, a dashboard, or a cinematic UI intro, you will play a crucial role in shaping how users perceive and interact with the product. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise across UI/UX, graphic design, brand storytelling, or motion/video. Experience in designing for web, mobile, and product interfaces is essential, along with the ability to create designs from scratch, starting from user journeys and wireframes to final high-fidelity screens. Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, After Effects, Canva, and Protopie/Lottie is required, as well as a solid understanding of design systems, micro-interactions, typography, and responsive layouts. Experience in designing for SaaS, AI, or B2B products, storyboarding, video editing, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and brand teams will be considered a plus. Our hiring process involves multiple stages, starting with the submission of your portfolio showcasing your best work. This will be followed by a coffee and creative chat where we will discuss your design style, choices, team dynamics, and design evolution. You will then participate in a live design challenge where you will be asked to sketch, prototype, or concept right in front of us, with live feedback provided. The final stage will involve a leadership round where we will have a conversation about how you envision leading, creating, and inspiring both inside and outside the frame. Joining our team means designing for high-visibility products and user journeys, collaborating across various departments including engineering, AI, sales, and strategy, and pushing visual innovation across screen, motion, and interaction. There are also opportunities for growth within the organization, with potential roles such as Designer Lead and Creative Director.
