About the Team: You will be a part of the Central Design Team. About the Role: As a Motion Graphics Designer, your responsibilities will include owning and leading design projects from the initial concept to the final delivery. You will ensure that the design solutions are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Conducting user research and usability testing will be crucial in incorporating insights to enhance design outcomes. Developing prototypes and wireframes to effectively communicate design ideas will be part of your role. Collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders will be essential to bring designs to life while balancing user needs with business objectives. Engaging in design reviews, accepting feedback, and continuously refining designs to improve the user experience will be a key aspect. Moreover, you will be expected to share your knowledge with peers, stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, and inspire your work and the team. Expectations: You should have technical proficiency in motion graphics systems, with video editing skills being a plus. Expertise in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Rive, and Lottie Files will be required. Proficiency in basic vector graphics and illustration is a must. Being adept in character animation, from illustration basics to designing characters, environments, and other visual assets, is essential. Additionally, you should have an excellent understanding of video compression and optimization for the web and apps. Knowledge in 3D software will be advantageous, enhancing your ability to create dynamic and immersive animations. A strong understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and typography is crucial. You must also have a portfolio showcasing diverse motion design work, including 2D/3D animation and app interactions. Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role: Experience: You should have 4 to 6 years of experience in Interaction design, with a diverse portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and successful projects. Education: A degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related field at the Bachelors or Masters level. Design Expertise: Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and proficiency with tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to simplify complex problems into elegant design solutions. Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
