Location: Full-time | On-site | Pune Role Overview: MotherQuilts is seeking a creative and driven Visual Storyteller & Social Media Manager who can capture the soul of our brand and bring it to life across digital platforms. This dynamic role blends photography, cinematography, and social media strategy to share the rich narratives behind handmade products, the artisans who create them, and the sustainable, impact-driven movement we're building. Key Responsibilities Visual Content Creation Capture high-quality photographs and videos of MotherQuilts' products, artisans, workshops, and events. Plan, direct, and execute both studio and on-location shoots. Create engaging promotional reels, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content. Edit and post-process images and videos to align with brand standards and storytelling. Social Media Management Design and implement a content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). Write compelling captions, hashtags, and copy aligned with brand voice and storytelling. Strategically plan and post content to grow reach, engagement, and conversions. Monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content based on insights. Engage with the community, respond to messages/comments, and build digital relationships. Collaboration Work closely with the design and marketing team to ensure visual alignment with campaign goals. Collaborate with artisans and field teams to authentically showcase stories from the ground. Stay ahead of visual and social media trends to bring innovation and impact. Qualifications 1+ years of hands-on experience in photography, videography, and social media content creation. Proficiency in Canva, Inshot or equivalent tools. Strong portfolio showcasing your storytelling abilities across photo, video, and social media. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools. Excellent sense of design, composition, lighting, and branding. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Passion for sustainability, traditional crafts, and purpose-driven work (preferred). Degree or certification in Photography, Mass Communication, Design, or related fields (preferred).
