As a Sr. Data Scientist with over 5 years of professional experience, you will be joining the data team of Inferenz, a client of Uplers. Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and deriving actionable insights to facilitate strategic decision-making. This role presents an exciting opportunity to create a tangible impact by leveraging machine learning, statistical analysis, and business intelligence within a dynamic work environment. Your key responsibilities will include extracting insights and constructing models to comprehend and predict key metrics. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business challenges and translate them into data science problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing structured and unstructured data from diverse sources. Emphasis will be placed on research analysis, model development, and deploying machine learning models to address real-world business issues. You will also conduct statistical analysis to produce data-driven insights and recommendations, working in collaboration with engineering and product teams to implement data solutions. Automation of model performance monitoring and retraining will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this role, you need to hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. In addition, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in a data science or machine learning capacity. Proficiency in Python, particularly PySpark, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, is essential. Hands-on experience with MLflow for model tracking and deployment, as well as expertise in Databricks for scalable ML workflows, are required. Your skill set should also include the ability to handle data issues such as gaps, duplicates, and drifts, along with strong SQL capabilities and experience working with large databases. A solid understanding of statistical modeling, A/B testing, predictive analytics, supervised/unsupervised learning, and deep learning is crucial. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and working knowledge of MLOps, will be advantageous. Effective problem-solving skills, communication abilities, attention to detail, and experience deploying models to production using CI/CD pipelines are desired attributes. Preferred skills for this role include experience with MosaicML, Azure ML, or AWS Sagemaker, as well as expertise in the Healthcare industry. The interview process consists of a technical round with the AD-Solution Architect, followed by two Techno/Managerial rounds with different stakeholders, and a final culture round with the MD.
