We are seeking a Software Engineer with 2 + years of experience to design and maintain custom software solutions for industrial applications. The role involves developing PC-based applications, web interfaces, and engineering tools to streamline automation, testing, and manufacturing processes. Note: While familiarity with industrial systems (PLCs, automation) is a plus , strong software engineering skills are the primary requirement. Key Responsibilities: Develop standalone and web-based applications for data acquisition, visualization, and reporting. Build tools to automate workflows (e.g., CAD integrations, PLC programming assistants). Design intuitive dashboards for real-time monitoring and historical data logging. Integrate with hardware/devices via APIs, sockets, or industrial protocols (training provided if needed). Optimize software for performance, security, and scalability in industrial environments. Collaborate with engineers to translate requirements into functional software. Core Skills (Mandatory): 3+ years in software development (C#/.NET, Python, Java, or similar). Proficiency in web development (JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular, Node.js, or similar). Experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Knowledge of REST APIs, WebSockets, or middleware communication . Strong debugging, testing, and code maintenance skills. Bonus Skills (Not Required but Helpful): Exposure to industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT) or PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Familiarity with CAD/engineering software APIs (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EPLAN). Experience with desktop app frameworks (Electron, WPF, Qt). Basic understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines).
