You will be part of a global IT services organization, Stefanini, which has been established for 37 years with a presence in 41 countries and 88 offices worldwide. In India, Stefanini operates in Noida, Pune, and Hyderabad, with a workforce of 1,800 employees over the past 10 years. As a MongoDB administrator on a contract basis for 6 months, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting databases in both MongoDB and Cassandra. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and provisioning MongoDB and Cassandra clusters. - Implementing Sharding and Replication for database systems. - Fine-tuning configurations of MongoDB and Cassandra servers for optimal performance. - Ensuring best practice processes are followed and service levels are met for database systems. - Performance tuning of both MongoDB and Cassandra systems. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors. - Proficiency in Aggregation Framework, Indexing, Replication, Sharding, and Server & Application Administration. - Familiarity with tools like Mongodump, Mongo restore, Filesystem snapshots, and MongoDB cloud manager or equivalent. - Developing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Business (COB) plans. - Monitoring Disk usage, CPU, Memory, Read Write Latency Issues, and alerting mechanisms. - Monitoring at Server, Database, Collection Level, and utilizing various monitoring tools related to MongoDB and Cassandra. - Experience in Rolling Database Upgrades.
