Key Responsibilities: Manage Key Accounts: Own and grow relationships with existing domestic and global customers. New Customer Acquisition: 1. Introduce 5–7 new chemical intermediates to customers each year. 2. Collaborate with R&D and sourcing teams to pitch technical product value. Export Sales: 1. Assist in converting export leads to orders, including coordination and follow-ups. 2. Represent Monachem at select international trade fairs and customer meetings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: 1. Work closely with internal sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction. 2. Contribute to weekly sales review and planning huddles. Role Objective: To strengthen Monachem’s presence in the Indian pharmaceutical market by building strong client relationships, promoting intermediates and specialty products, and driving sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in pharma companies (R&D, Purchase, Tech Transfer, Manufacturing). • Promote Monachem’s pharma intermediates and technology-driven solutions. • Actively visit clients across India (50–60% travel expected). • Identify new opportunities, generate inquiries, and convert them into orders. • Provide techno-commercial support to clients in coordination with internal teams. • Prepare and deliver professional presentations to clients. • Track competitor activities and market trends in pharma intermediates. • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to domestic business expansion. Key Requirements: • Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry/Pharma) or B. Pharm. MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred but not mandatory. • Experience: 8–15 years in B2B sales of pharma intermediates, APIs, or excipients. • Skills & Strengths: 1. Excellent relationship-building and networking ability. 2. Strong techno-commercial knowledge of pharma intermediates. 3. Computer savvy – proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), email, CRM tools. 4. Ability to prepare & deliver effective presentations. 5. Entrepreneurial mind set with persistence to drive sales in a competitive market. • Strong communication skills (written & verbal). • Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
