Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot moulding processes (e.g., plastic injection, compression, or die casting) to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Set up moulding machines and related equipment, and create standardized setup sheets and parameters. Collaborate with tooling, quality, and maintenance teams to reduce defects, scrap, and cycle times. Analyze process data and apply statistical process control (SPC), DOE (Design of Experiments), and root cause analysis (RCA). Provide technical support during new product introductions (NPI), including tool trials and process validation. Lead process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, etc.). Ensure compliance with safety standards, ISO/TS quality systems, and environmental regulations. Train operators and technicians on process best practices and troubleshooting. Requirements: Strong knowledge of mould design, thermoplastic materials, and process optimization. Hands-on experience with moulding machines and auxiliary equipment. Proficient in problem-solving tools such as FMEA, 8D analysis. Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001) and documentation.
