We are looking for an experienced Footwear Sole Mold Developer to join our R&D team at Cult in Bahadurgarh. The ideal candidate should have in-depth technical knowledge of mold development for various sole types and materials, a strong understanding of mold opening processes, and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving production-related mold issues. Key Responsibilities: 1. Mold Development & Management Manage mold opening processes for various sole types (Rubber, TPR, Compressed EVA, Injection EVA dual color & density). Ensure mold designs meet brand specifications and quality standards. Assess and approve mold samples and pre-production trials. 2. Material Knowledge & Impact Analysis Strong understanding of mold materials (aluminum, steel, etc.) and their impact on final sole quality, durability, and cost. Recommend suitable materials and processes for different sole designs. 3. Costing & Vendor Coordination Prepare detailed costing for mold development and assess cost efficiency. Coordinate with international factories/vendors for mold opening, approvals, and technical discussions. 4. Troubleshooting & Production Support Address sole-related issues during production and provide effective technical solutions. Work closely with the production team to ensure timely resolution of mold-related problems. 5. Technical Expertise Experience in EVA (compressed and injection) sole molds, rubber sole molds, and TPR dual-color/dual-density molds. Knowledge of mold maintenance and longevity improvement techniques. 6. Fit & Measurement Accuracy: Work on last development to ensure best fit and comfort. Assess and verify all-stage samples against requisition and quality standards Required Skills: Minimum 34 years of experience in footwear sole mold development. Strong technical knowledge of mold opening processes and various molding techniques. Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues during production. Understanding of costing for molds and material selection. Excellent communication and coordination skills for dealing with international vendors/factories. Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and international vendors. Accuracy in measurements, fit assessment, and sample evaluation. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Diploma/Degree in Footwear Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
