Job Description

You'll be working with the

product and engineering

team.This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to build products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station) which together unlock 15-minute rapid charging.Our philosophy:

You have to BUILD fast & passionately and build to simplify.All projects at Exponent are delivered by Cross Functional Teams - they are internally referred to as squads. Each squad is given a target in terms of project deliverables - including cost, quality and timeline. The squad is led by what we call - Module Lead. The module lead's job is to manage risk and ensure successful launch of the product to relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Work with relevant functional leads to identify risks across domains - engineering, process, operations, service etc.
  • Prioritize and manage mitigation as well as resolution of each of these risks
  • Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the team (Squad)
  • Take projects from proof of concept to production - until handover to sustenance.
  • Manage squad budgets ranging from R&D, Homologation, Testing etc.

The ideal candidate

  • Strong engineering fundamentals. Without this - fundamental risk tradeoff calls cannot be managed.
  • Strong analytical mindset to be able to drive objective, data driven decisions.
  • Should have gone through a product development cycle from the concept stage to stabilization of the production stage.
  • Would like to get hands on with work and problem solving.
  • Should be a people person.
  • Should have built hardware products that have gone into customer hands - Exposure to the EV ecosystem is an added bonus
