Preparation of specification/Design Basis for Civil and structural works. Care fully read & full fill the customer Contract requirement / specification of Civil Design requirement, Preparation of Civil Design Time schedule which should be aligned with Project requirement. Evaluation & Selection of Civil Designer ( DEC ) who has competency to do industrial plant structure. Ensure Civil Design BoQ's are with in the estimate. Ensure the cost of Civil Design with in the budget. Coordination with internal departments like layout, Piping, Electrical, C&I and Project management for obtaining inputs, clarifications and make sure the right inputs are available with design department. Coordination & Negotiation with customer, Construction Contractors and fabricators for Civil design deliverables and planning which shall be in line with project plan. Provide detailed Inputs/Scope of work to Designer ( DEC/Internal team ) to prepare Detail drawings, checking the same for design adequacy, functional requirements by performing interdepartmental checks and incorporate all comments from customer/consultant. Co-ordination with PMC/Clients to obtain the approvals. SKILL SET Detail knowledge of Design and detail engineering of various types of industry, like Chemical refinery Plants, Power & heavy industry.,etc.. steel structures. Preferable to have a exposure of large size structures like TG Buildings, Tall Stacks, Equipment supporting foundations ( involves dynamic analysis ), Deep foundations, Boiler supporting steel structures, Pipe racks, Steel connections design, Exposure to General engineering Roads, Drains, etc., Should have strong knowledge in India codes. Proficiency in design software's like STAAD, etc. Proficiency in drafting and documentation tools like ACAD,Matchcad etc. Should have some years of site experience. Should have good analytical skills, practical oriented approach towards the sub-ordinates and problem solving. Good communication skills and good coordination/co-operation like inter/-external disciplines.
